WHATβS THE POINT?
This feature helps music marketers, label representatives and artist managers analyze a pre-released songsβ performance for reports and marketing campaigns. Trendpop tracks how many users have favorited or used a song in a sound or song (remixes), to gage how much hype is around it before its official release.
POST CONDITIONS
Song needs to be uploaded to Spotify first
Pre-release campaign is created and actively tracking
User can monitor campaign performance in real-time
Reports are generated showing campaign effectiveness
Data is available for export and sharing with stakeholders

1/ Initiate Pre-Release Report
User navigates to the "Pre Release" section from the left sidebar
System displays the "Create reports for unreleased songs" screen
2/ Add Pre-Release Song Manually
User selects "Add an unreleased song to start a campaign"
System prompts for song details (song name, artist name, release date)
User enters song information
System creates a new campaign entry

User clicks "Add Pre-Release Link" button
User adds pre-release link (DSP from Linkfire)
System validates and stores the links
3/ Add Associated Sounds
User selects "Add sounds associated to the unreleased song"
System allows user to link:
Search for sounds in Trendpop
Drag and drop a TikTok or Spotify URL
Upload a CSV file (100 rows max) containing TikTok URLs here
System begins tracking engagement with the selected sounds
4/ View Metrics
User accesses "View top line metrics of the song's overall performance"
System displays dashboard showing:
Social media engagement metrics
Viral coefficient and growth trends
Geographic distribution of interest
Platform-specific performance
The campaign ends when the song is marked as βreleasedβ
