WHAT’S THE POINT?
The existing home dashboard wasn’t being utilized due to a lack of engaging tools. We redesigned it as a command center for industry professionals, balancing free discovery tools with clear upgrade incentives while providing immediate value through personalized recommendations and insights.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Recent activity: search history, campaigns, collections, catalog

  • Locked features for upgraded tiers: Team(artist discovery), Business(collections) and Enterprise(campaigns, catalog)

  • Featured creators: emerging and trending creators

  • Trendpop insights: articles on various topics written by the marketing team such as trends to watch, saved searches and curated collections

👁️ Engagement with the dashboard

  • Increase in home dashboard visits per active user (e.g., +30% within 3 months).

  • Increase in average time on home dashboard and scroll depth to “Creators to Watch” and “Trendpop Insights” sections.

  • Percentage of users interacting with at least one module per session (Recent Activity tiles, Creators to Watch, Insights cards).

SUCCESS MEASUREMENTS

Trendpop clients responded enthusiastically to the new experience, expressing strong satisfaction with the added functionality and clarity. The redesigned home page became significantly more engaging and insight‑driven, turning into a true starting point for daily workflows.

It now helps users seamlessly pick up where they left off, highlights trending creators to watch, and surfaces Trendpop insights on the latest trends, searches, collections, and relevant upgrade tiers when additional capabilities are needed. This combination of continuity, discovery, education, and clear upgrade paths strengthened user trust and reinforced Trendpop’s value as an essential tool for music industry professionals.
